Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Yes — all paid plans come with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required. You'll have full access to every feature in your plan during the trial.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
We'll notify you when you're approaching your limits. Scanning and existing data will never be blocked mid-audit — we'll work with you to upgrade before limits are reached.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the change takes effect immediately (prorated billing). Downgrading takes effect at the end of your billing cycle.
How are items counted?
An 'item' is any registered entity in the system — an ingredient lot, a production batch, a finished product, or an inventory item. QR codes themselves don't count until registered.
Is the data isolated from other customers?
Absolutely. TraceLayer is multi-tenant by design — every piece of data is scoped to your organisation. Other customers cannot see your data under any circumstances.
Do you offer charity or non-profit pricing?
Yes. Registered charities and non-profit food operations can contact us for discounted pricing.
